Harrasment due to Hackusations

Hello everyone, I have been running a group of clans on destiny 2 since the game first came out. One of those clans is a pure pvp based clan for members with a high k/d. Since the start of this season I have seen an increase in people accusing members of that clan of hacking in pvp. This has especially affected newer members of our roster, as the moment someone accuses them of hacking in a game, nobody within our clans wants to play with them. This is because in the most recent TWAB Bungie said they would ban players that are in the same fireteam as a hacker. This hysteria is amplified even more when entry level twitch streamers that play against these members say they hack or when a top 500 player in trials expresses the same concern. This has led to people harassing the accused via public text/voice channels and private DMs. It has also increased pressure on my end as a clan leader to remove these players without credible evidence. The steps I have personally had to take to ensure a nontoxic environment, because of this hysteria, is to always have a person that is capable of twitch streaming in trials matches, or have an accused player stream to discord so that a veteran pvp player can stay muted and watch him play. However this is not enough to prevent people hackusating from outside our clan, or to completely rule out if someone is 'toggling' or not. Despite all of the measures that we have taken we cannot force people to live by the 'innocent until proven guilty' mantra, it is always the other way around because of the fear that playing with them would get an innocent player banned. I believe Bungie should have a system to show player report tallies and status that can optionally be visible on player profiles, or a way to publicly clear a player of hacking related reports up to a certain date. There should be positive and negative reinforcement in this system too, so that players that report people get notified if the player they reported was banned or cleared. Unless a system like this is implemented I fear legitimate players will continue to suffer at the hands of skeptical players and that hackers will slip through the cracks regardless of whatever trust system we try to formulate as players. tldr; Clan members are being accused of hacking in pvp and that is causing them to be segregated by other players and become victims of harassment. Bungie should implement a system to show the trust rating of a player based on reports or other data, and overhaul their report system.
