The question is this: Does flinch need to be re-worked in Destiny 2
-
There is evidence that flinching moves the reticle towards the head if not already on it. This entirely defeats the purpose of a 'flinch' mechanic and has a side effect of making already easy to use snipers almost impossible to counter in the hands of an okay player (not even good). Snipers are long ranged weapons. Quickscoping and close range play should be something incredibly hard to pull off, and yet its equally as common to get killed by a sniper in shotgun range as it is from scout rifle range and beyond. Snipers are just plain too easy to use, and this unbalanced flinch mechanic doesn't help. There are so many problems, even besides this, with destiny pvp that I don't think there's a chance it'll ever be good.
