During the weekend I showed my little 11-year-old brother a youtube video of people hacking in Trials of Osiris showing him what I have to deal with ( his name is Carunch, account ID is 21356277). Since he thought that he wasn't good at the game he got interested and went to a random website and downloaded free software for his computer. I posted the link above of what he downloaded. He instantly got banned and I consoled him and I told him that he never should have done it in the first place. We decided to move on for now and play a different game together for a couple of hours and then I went to go play some more trials before reset only to find out that I had been banned as well. I'm not saying that I don't do things wrong, I do free recoveries for others and stuff like that but so do streamers with thousands of viewers and they don't get banned. I also thought about the number of times that I have been Beaver coded in trials or survival and I thought i could've been banned for "leaving" matches. The only other thing I could think of is that somehow you banned mee and my brother because he tried to use cheats on the same IP or device as me?? I have built this account for 6 years and I got my brother into the games 2 years ago, we've spent over 2500 hours collectively on destiny 2 and I don't know what to do during this pandemic if I can't play on my account. This really is a bad situation and I would love to know the cause of the situation so that it can be fixed or concluded.
