In D1 we used to have a sprint lock mechanic, this was later corrected but you had to use an artifact (I dont remember the name, came out in RoI.)
In D2, the sprint lock mechanic was removed, this is such an understated minor change that helps the games movement flow together more effectively (thank you, it was frustrating to deal with in D1).
Here in D2, the same kind of issue is present but in a different skin. On PC, traction is not necessary, they can turn on a penny with a mouse. On console though, were locked by hardware restrictions and the turning circle without traction is far too large to be competitive.
Please make traction a core game mechanic and not a perk. Itll add some diversity to boot loadouts as at the moment, you're bottlenecked into running stat boost + traction + scavenger.
