Im sorry if this is a bit of a read
I was hoping to suggest that Gambit Prime be a rotation activity, similar to Iron Banner, rotate it in and out. For example having the Drifter 'come up from his hole' in the annex or the emissary of the 9 or a kitbash gambit rigged frame acting as the vendor.
The new prime guns maybe rigged up versions of the trials of the 9 guns after drifter got his hands on some of them, adding his own dark age style to them
The old trials of the 9 guns and armor becoming ornaments vet D2 players will remember and players could win or buy from the silver shop
If Thorn and Malfeasance get Catalyst i could see them dropping from Gambit or this suggested rotating Gambit Prime, maybe even have them as iron banner style end of the quest card goals
This all came up when playing prime myself and others noticed less and less people using the Prime armors from Reckoning. Eventually i found almost no one is using them, but when there have been one or more on a team using the armor on the rare occasions, those teams always come out strong winners
I feel restricting it and making it rotate like Iron banner with new guns, armor, could bring it back
Give people a need to do Rekoning to get back the edge those Notorious Armors gave them

Edited by Lull9: 4/11/2020 8:00:34 PMNobody uses the Reckoning armor anymore because armor 2.0 is a motivation killer. No way in hell I'm regrinding Reckoning to have highly specific sets of armor to clutter up my vault and have to maintain. Also, they apparently don't have a seasonal mod slot so, yeah, I'm going to use my taken mods (armaments lulz) on my Forge armor and eat a reaper synth. The prime sets are highly unnecessary unless you're a hardcore Invader or want to be a doofus and summon giant blockers.
