The Red Book 01, #1634: Akûn   My name is Silas, I'm the last remaining member of my fireteam. Akûn tore us apart, we all entered the Dreadnought in a bid to kill him, we failed. All my friends died, all of them, not one was left.   After he killed them, he- he reanimated the corpses. He made them dance in front of me, not a happy dance, a sad dance. Like a child being forced to look happy by someone else.   The entire thing has a weird dreamlike quality in my mind, but I know it's real. I know it's real. The Vanguard has taken me off of field duty indefinitely, they don't know whether I'll recover mentally or not. But I can assure you the only way I'll recover, is with Akûn's death. End report. ---------------------------------------------------------------   Subject Akûn has been put on threat level 3 on a scale of 10, he has the power nor the drive to become a new Taken King. Update: Akûn has been raised to a threat level 5 due to his ability to invade guardians minds, fireteams should be assigned strike missions. Update 2: Akûn has been raised to threat level 7 due to his recent actions in London. A team of guardians have self assigned a strike against him. Update 3: Akûn has been raised to threat level 8 due to his smaller scale Dreadnought recreation. His attack on the City had the potential to destroy it. His status is currently unknown, whether he has a throne world is currently unknown. Threat level will remain at 8 until he is proven permanently dead. --------------------------------------------------------------- The Red Book 02, #9573: Dredgen Mala   My name is Kirk, I'm filing a report on the murder of my friend, and fireteam member, Kirilen. She was killed by a human guardian named Dredgen Mala, this is a full account of the events.   We had been assigned to find Mala and kill her, she had been committing murder left and right. The people she was supposed to protect were her victims. Citizens of the City lay in heaps of dead bodies because of her, so we accepted the mission.   The night we found her it was raining, she had set up camp in a building outside the wall. There was a large amount of mud on the ground which is how we found her. We should have been expecting a trap, she was too easy to find.   When we entered the camp we couldn't find her, she had set up the camp and walked off. There was a trail of muddy footprints that we followed, they led deeper into the building.   The moment I stepped in the building I took a bullet to the head, when I was revived Kirilen had taken off chasing after Mala. I heard gunshots from another room.   When I rounded the corner I saw what I can't get out of my mind now. Kirilen was being torn apart by a trap, almost certainly set up by Mala. Mala simply stood there laughing until it was over. Then, when Kirilen's ghost came out to revive her Mala drew her gun.   The next thing I knew Kirilen's ghost was lying dead on the ground. Mala figured out a way to kill ghosts, she spoke to me. Three words, they formed a question.   "Beautiful, isn't it?"   She disappeared before I got the chance to kill her. I would like to caution fireteams who go after Mala from now on, she can kill you permanently and will not hesitate.   I would also like to point out that I don't believe she is completely sane. She lacks a sense of remorse, her sense of humor seems to replace that. I've never seen or heard of her getting mad, this leads me to the conclusion that almost nothing can get under her skin. That or we've just not found the right thing yet. In summary she's always eerily calm unless killing someone. Then, she's a lunatic, laughing and laughing and laughing.   I'll kill her.
