I love(d) this game. I really did. I started playing Christmas eve and in 4 months, I've put in over 560 hours (checked on Destiny tracker) with 47,000 triumph. Here's where they're losing me, and fast. You grind to level your character to the soft cap, you do a master nightmare hunt, beat the champions, the 1030 boss, and then guess where your pinnacle is going? Wherever your HIGHEST light level equipment is, of course! (WTF!) So then you go into a raid, and the "secret" chest gives you the same loot you just got for the encounter. Exactly the same thing, just a lower light level, thanks for nothing. You wait around for Banner, complete your bounties, and get two pinnacle guns in kinetic, and two in your energy slot, so the only one that meant anything was the first one, although it will likely go into the same slot as your highest piece of gear. The s**t is traaaaaaaaaaash, because you have to wait a f***ing month for the next iron banner. Thanks again. Imagine if you didn't have tons of free time like me, and you wanted to level your character so that you could compete in iron banner and trials, but you keep grinding for pinnacles, only to get ones that don't help you level at all!!! This week, I got 16 pieces of pinnacle gear between my 3 characters. 8 of them went to kinetic, 4 to energy, 2 to legs, and two to helmets. F*** this bro.
