Transmogrification:
● All armor in collection needs to become a universal ornament.
● Armor with 60+ stats should not dictate a guardian's fashion.
● Eververse ornaments should not monopolize fashion.
Shaders:
● Sparrow trail effects should have a shader slot.
● Shaders need better color palette representation.
● Introduce exotic shaders that are animated.
● More shaders available for purchase (NPC or Eververse).
Mods:
● Remove random perks from ghosts and let players choose via mods.
● Remove random perks from sparrows and let players choose via mods.
● Void & arc mods should be visible, but grayed out, while browsing solar armor.
Upgrades:
● Dismantling an ascended shard should yield 7~9 enhancement prisms.
● Dismantling an enhancement prism should yield 7~9 enhancement cores.
● Masterworking any exotic cannot cost more than one ascended shard.
Inventory:
● Provide at least 150 slots for consumables.
● Deprecate the modifications tab; all items stored here disappear once "unlocked."
● Implement more specific sorting filters or tabs.
● Redesign the shaders tab; each shader is important but they don't deserve 50 slots.
Raids:
● Make all "raid-exclusive" exotics obtainable via a genuinely difficult raid quest.
● Reward pinnacles once per week, but allow loot to drop regardless of completions.
● Bring back a better version of raid lairs.
Strikes:
● Give each nightfall an exclusive weapon with the chance to drop as curated.
● Give each nightfall exclusive enemy themed armor.
Crucible:
● Make the annoying rank up banner the same as a triumph notification.
● Stop rewarding blue items; reward planetary material, legendary shards, and cores.
● Reward players with option to chose a weapon or armor piece after each rank up.
Planets:
● Collecting planetary material directly from the planet should yield 5~10 pieces.
● Add click-and-drag support for the map on PC.
● Mark bounty locations on map even if the wanted enemy roams.
● All planetary chests should have the chance of rewarding enhancement cores.
● Replace all normal lost sectors with legendary lost sectors.
● Normal public events need to be heroic, and the heroic version needs to be legendary.
Mechanics:
● Make exotics useful in the activity they were obtained, ex: Xenophage in PoH.
● Give all exotic weapons one of the following perks: unstoppable, anti-barrier, overload.
● Boss stomps and phalanx bursts need to stop sending you across the room.
Miscellaneous:
● Re-purpose blue items as "frames" that players can work towards "evolving" into legendary.
● Stop removing seasonal activities; incorporate them into the game somehow.
● Give clans the ability to advertise themselves via Hawthorne.
● Breathe life into the farm with unique vendors unavailable at the Tower.
● When HUD is set to off give the option to enter 3rd person view for better screenshots.
● Allow players to save their favorite weapon and armor load-outs for quick access.
Third Party Suggestions:
● "Slot Leveling" instead of individual item leveling: https://bit.ly/2JvCh84
● Amanda and Ikora should be the "mechanics" for all equipment: https://bit.ly/2UUyzdB
Bungie, if you actually took the time to read this... thank you. I love Destiny 2. With or without the above changes. But please, please, please... take them into consideration, seriously...
Sincerely,
David

Also 2 things that should have been implemented ages ago ● The ability to put ANY ornament kit (armor wise) on your exotic armor! ● Put shaders on exotic weapons! <-- Should have been a thing a long time ago!
-
Pay David for for doing your job Bungie
-
I'll add to that with Weekly Weapon Bounties for the 3 activity vendors. 2 bounties per vendor that give a weapon from that activity (i.e. Nightshade for Vanguard, Better Devils for Crucible, etc.) with gambit having one for base gambit set and one for Prime set. The weapons offered change each week and the bounties work like ritual/pinnacle weapons with them being account-wide instead of per character. Objectives consist of a combination of activity completions, enemies killed in activities, and more focused objectives like bosses defeated in strikes, Primevals/blockers defeated in gambit, or guardians defeated with supers in crucible. This would help alleviate some of the grind that has really bogged this game down lately.
-
I love this. Can we vote some Bungie members out and hire you? On a side note, do you see the problem here? With your solution, you would log on for less playtime. Bungie can't have that! It is all about the numbers to them.
-
Divinity/Outbreak Prime quests are the best examples of raid exotic quests. Accessible, but they still require a decent amount of actual work from the player. Something more akin to Xenophage would also be quite interesting and welcome. Perhaps maybe even implementing challenge versions into it.
-
Honestly, when I first heard about the armor changes it was my assumption all armors would be ornaments or something akin to that. Lol. I was very disappointed cause I was thinking I could use the look of some blue armor. Then the Solstice armor wasn't an ornament, kinda figured it wouldn't be given they have a special ornament. But the 2.0 armor they gave us had 48 base stats. Like, why? The ghost changes would be very nice. I love the look of a lot of ghosts but hate the perks.

They will pass it to dev team.. Dev team will pass it away.

Peanut butters are not all created the same. Store brands usually add unhealthy hydrogenated oils that keep the natural peanut oil from separating out. Sugar and corn syrup are another common addition that doesn’t belong in good peanut butter. Your gourmet grocer should have a machine that allows you to grind fresh peanuts into peanut butter. If not, look for a jar of “old fashioned” peanut butter, and be prepared to stir the separated peanut oil back into solution. I’m partial to the “crunchy” variety that has bit of unground peanut in it; it adds a pleasant texture that complements the soft sponginess of fresh bread. Feel free to experiment with almond and other nut butters

Make that cursed login screen dark please. Three years of burning my retinas off on that damn thing is not fun
-
Well well put, Bungie hire him please!

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 3/31/2020 1:50:53 AMIt’s a good list But nothing different to the many times I’ve written different suggestions over the last 5-6 years of D1 & D2 Just this week - Written on the TWAB this week ALL armour styles should be ornaments https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/255598191/0/0/1 ——- Problem is Bungie will never listen The greatest QoL change would be new direction, from someone who actually GaF about the majority PAYING playerbase (not satisfying the marketing by sucking up to the 1% Streamers & Scarab Lord types, or the F2P crew) ——- I’ve an idea for 3 types of frames (upgradable) but it needs typing up Something like this ARMOUR 3.0 Part 1 ALL armour is categorised into Frames Weights(1-3), with 1*Lightweight, 2**Intermediate & 3***Stronghold 5 pieces of armour ...all with the option to choose 1of3 weights (star rating * to ***) - these ratings increase/decrease Mobility/Resilience/Recovery All with their own pro’s & cons, including Crit Areas due to armour selection) Helm = Intelligence/Targeting Arms could equal Handling/Dexterity Chest = Durability/??? Legs = Traction/Speed Class Item = Etheric Mods/Specialist (EG, Lightweight x5 allows for speed & agility mods, but carries less resilience & vulnerability Build a true Titan tank with 5x pieces of 3***Stronghold, the ability to tank huge damage in PvE, but lack the agility to chase Lightweight Frames in PvP With the Current (Year3) 6 Stats {Mobility/Resilience/Recovery/Ordnance (replacing Grenades), Intelligence & Strength} all available to masterwork individually (apply Mobility/Strength/Intelligence MW etc) across all 5 Armour Slots Want to build a PvP Hunter ? Maybe a 3*Helm, 1*Arms, 2*Chest, 1*Legs, 2*Class Item) with Masterworks for 2xIntelligence 1xResilience & 2xOrdnance (this allows Super Regen, Ordnance Regen & a bump in Resilience) Each Frame option has varied & differing Mod slots, depending on Frame Class 1*-3* With a 3* Stronghold Frame being able to access more mod slots for Grenades, Heavy Weapon Mods etc Part 2 Then cosmetically, ALL current W/G/B/P armour is turned into Cosmetic Ornaments (with some unloved White/Green/Blue & Purple armour sets retired)....this also allows ALL ornaments (Y1 through Y?) to be equipped Shaders actually change the colours of armour With a rotating 4 triangular section, top triangle the primary colour! Part 3 Mod system, the option to truly create a Ordnance Throwing Titan, or a SpellCaster Go ahead, invest in YOUR Frame Want to equip Raid mods? Fine, go ahead - equip on Class Item Want to style it out equip whichever Ornaments Build Multiple Frames, PvE & PvP, Speed vs Strength etc Currency & Materials to be decided Exotic Armour is separate, but can still be incorporated into Mod System/Frame System (1*-3* Exotics, anyone?) & Ornament System
-
I just really wish they'd expand upon what they have instead of add new content - more nightmare hunts but spread them out accross the solar system - more vault space - raid ornaments that are unlocked via triumphs/challenges OR the same system D1 had in AoT - make more space on the arcology on Titan, the east side of the edz, and the tangled shore
-
Very nice and well done, glad to see you have a vision on the game and clearly care about it, just wish Bungie would listen Have a good day

Edited by blade329: 3/31/2020 2:33:32 PMYes, for the love of god, stop giving us all this blue item crap. They are purposely flooding our post office and character menus with a ton of blue loot for some bizarre reason. Forcing us into an endless cycle of maintenance with no tools and menus that are 5 years old.

Would love to see all of this added

Edited by Smokey11090: 3/30/2020 7:48:14 PMOk so possibly a little off topic, but I am a huge swtor fan and the best thing IMO they did was bringing in appearance changing! Any armour your character can wear could be used to make any other armour you can wear look like it. In short, ornaments. Also, the dyes, where primary and secondary colours. And if you wanted you could only dye the chest piece, then select unify colours and all the other armour slots would appear as though that dye module was used on them too. Now, apply this same concept to Destiny 2, and you can get some really interesting looks! So in short, the concept of any wearable piece of armour can be an ornament, and a few of the misc points I agree 100% with, but they also need to stop "Shoehorning" with the barrier, overload, and stagger mods. They should be perks that ANY weapon can use, and not just a specific legendary only type. This would let people still use exotic weapons in their builds. I personally would love to see the artifacts become permanent starting next year. You would pick a artifact you already got from a season you played in, or if the season is your first season then that would be your artifact for that character. (Artifact level boost would still reset in the new season, but otherwise the mods and perks would remain the same) New season and new artifact which you think is better? Sorry, but if you want it, create a new character for that season. Oh and lets not forget about the stupid beaver disconnects that I only started getting this season, and now on average get 50 of them in a day. Yes I know there are more people online now to do global events, but that should be no excuse! A redditer who despises Activision said it best: "It's almost like having the extra support from Activision actually mattered.... I shuddered typing this." That is a quote of a reply to a comment I made about bungie's lack of quality control on new content. I am sure some people would find my suggestions too limiting, but I am sick and tired of all these gosh darn YouTube builds that are only viable for the season active at the time of recording. Maybe this way it will keep these videos from becoming stale and obsolete. Anyways if you actually read that entire post 100 million karma for you and your family, I know I can go off on rants at times. Fight on fellow Guardians.
-
Also, maybe be able to permanently delete exotic quests that you already completed on another character? I don't know if it's just me, but I find having the same quest for the same weapon on every character extremely annoying.

Sell it to Microsoft, it's the only fix that will work. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/255636015?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1

Hope this happens...especially the transmog stuff!!!!
-
I agree with everything up until your first raid point Because unless this "quest" involves completing the raid, it'll remove one of the few things that make raids worth doing. Besides that subscribe to the belief that some items should just be THAT rare and hard to get, to separate the boys from the men
-
The transmog thing makes so much sense, but it probably won’t happen because it pulls you away from having to use Eververse to look good. Bringing back faction armor is cool, but there’s no WAY I’m gonna use that armor with those crappy rolls. It needs to be ornaments.
-
I think the random perks for ghost are okay. I think the shells should be universal ornaments as well.
-
And also maybe fix the loading icon, the one that switches between the 3 guardian types. The titan symbol is messed up, the triangle on the right side faces the wrong direction. its small and doesn't affect game play but it bothers me and probably quite a few others.
