So, I want to get a few things out of the way before you read this.
This started as a three paragraph joke I sent to shadowheart, she really enjoyed it so I kept writing. After so long she told me to post it, so I have her permission.
IT IS NOT CANNON TO EITHER STORY!
Lastly, it is based off of page three of shadow's story.
Koran-5 opened the strange door to find an awoken woman with black hair and fire bright eyes, with nothing to cover herself but a torn and ripped shirt.
She had cuts and bruises over most of her body. Across from her was Variks the loyal with a playful smile and no clothing but a thin sheet.
"Woah, Sorry!" Koran-5 said, turning and leaving before either could reply.
"Shadowww, I told you to be quiet yessss..." Variks purred.
Shadow looked down into her lap and nodded, thoroughly embarrassed.
"I wonder what he wanted?" She said, followed by a long pause.
"VARIKS! What if he tells someone?!"
She tears out of the bed after the unknown hunter and is almost to the door when Variks calls her name.
"Shadowww, look down," he said, gesturing to her torso.
"Aaaaagh! Where are my clothes!" She screams, Variks points to the shredded shirt on the bed...
She rips the sheet off the bed and runs out the door, wrapping it around herself like a cloak as she ran.
When she reached the outpost she saw the Hunter speaking to a warlock near the loading area.
She rushed through the crowd towards him while the people around her called out.
"Hey, is that Shadow?!"
"What is she wearing?"
"Why does she have all those scratches?"
She pulled the sheet on tighter and pushed on...
Upon reaching the Hunter she grabbed him by the arm and forced him back across the outpost, pulling him to her ship.
"WHO HAVE YOU TOLD?!" She yelled, almost being heard outside the ship.
"No one! I promise!" He said, shying away from the furious awoken in front of him.
"Good! And that's how it'll stay!"
"I wasn't going to tell anyone," he stated flatly.
"Oh, you weren't?"
She looked into the Exo's bright orange eyes, her anger, ebbing away, was replaced by curiosity.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Koran-5," he said with a sigh, happy to change the subject. "What's your's?"
She got nervous and started looking at her bare feet.
"What if he does tell someone?!" She thought.
As if reading her mind, his next reply was, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
She sighed and looked around the cabin of her ship.
"At least let me get some clothes first," Shadow said with a small chuckle, trying to ease the tension. "Turn around."
"Alright," Koran said with a playful sigh.
He turned around, and with that she dropped the sheet once again revealing her beautiful pale blue skin.
"Glitch? If you don't mind," Shadow said, rolling her eyes.
Koran heard something transmat behind him and figured it was safe to turn around.
Shadow, now fully clothed, wore black armor with dents in most places and paint scraping away from the edges.
"Well," she started, "I'm Shadow."
"Well, Shadow... I'm sorry for busting in on you and, 'ahem' Variks..." Koran said, his voice trailing off towards the end.
Shadow sighed and looked up to Koran, his eyes so like hers, but... Also so different.
"It's fine," she said, starting to giggle, "Just make sure you knock next time!"
At this Koran started laughing.
"Com'on, you needed to see Variks right!" Shadow said, beaming to the exo.
