Even darkness must pass.[/quote] Today, March 25th, 3019, in the heart of Mt Doom Frodo and Gollum fought over the Ring while the rest of the Fellowship fought at the Black Gate. Today the Ring fell into the fires from whence it came, and was destroyed. I find it awesome that Tolkien was so organized that many of the events of the book can be placed on direct days of the calendar.
