Well, I got this idea earlier today when I relized that everyone whom I saw with Hardlight was using only Void (pre-set standard)
...and that perk... as it is... is obviously quite OP after auto-rifle changes.
So... everything except that perk would be the same and perk would be a bit changed and perfectly combined with "The Fundamentals":
- Solar damage = overpenetrate targets, projectile deal (burn) damage over time after penetrate
- Void damage = no damage falloff (or even inverted... longer distance = more dmg - yeah... that would be fun xD)
- Arc damage = ricochet off hard surfaces, projectile damage increases after bounce
This sounds to me like really good perk which gives players tons of options how to use it and it's not broken piece of shit anymore + people will finally discover that Hardlight really can swap damage types :'D
