Orûnn and Billy venture deeper under the surface of the Nest Rock, along with the other sixty Bubbies. They make their way through massive tunnels which led to even larger rooms. The cave system was surprisingly well lit with bright orange crystals poking out of the cave walls, but there wasn’t much else that they could find other than rocks all over the place. The group had to be on high alert for the Krall and other Husks like Orûnn that might be hostile. Billy: I’m sorry that the Krall are here. It’s not fair that they’ve attacked your home like this. I feel like it’s my fault. Orûnn: Don’t beat yourself up about it because I’m not super attached to this place. Billy: What do you mean? Orûnn: This is my first time exploring this place. I originally hatched out of a rock in a forest near a place called OffTopic. Billy: Hey I know that place! I had arrived there a while back with hopes to make friends, but the Krall arrived and started causing trouble. I was forced to leave so that OffTopic could be safe. Their conversation was interrupted by a screech that echoed around the chamber they stood within. The Bubbies readied their weapons for whatever was about to show up. Billy saw movement in the corner of his eye and immediately shot in its direction. He missed his shots and saw a large blur launch into the air about ten feet in front of him. He stood back and the Bubbies raised up their shields, standing in a circular formation. The blur landed, crushing a boulder under it and Billy could finally see what it was. It was an extremely muscular Husk with four arms, one completely white eye, and a disturbingly wide grin across its face. It stood tall at eight feet and looked down at Billy. ????: INVADERS!! PREPARE TO BE DESTROYED!! Billy: We have come here to he- The four armed Husk didn’t think twice before sending his fist to Billy. Billy blocked the punch with his shield and pushed back on the Husk. The Husk began wailing on Billy’s shield with all four arms now, pushing back even stronger than Billy. He was able to withstand the barrage of punches for a while, but he felt his strength drifting away. Bubby soldier: Do you need help Billy!? Billy: No, it’s alright! Just keep your eyes on the area around us! Billy concentrated on the large Husk who was still giving relentless swings. The Husk went for a powerful smash with two of his fists, but just when he was about to hit Billy, Orûnn stepped in and used his back to block him. The Husk let out a scream and stepped back, his hands now in pain from hitting Orûnn’s thick plated back. ????: Let me KILLLLL these things Orûnn! Orûnn: They have come to help us Paltat! You need to calm down! Paltat: I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO OUR SPECIES! ILL KILL ALL OF YOU! Billy: You know this guy Orûnn!? Orûnn: I will explain later! We need to focus on stopping him! Paltat started punching in a rage fueled fury, crushing rocks and causing the chamber to shake. Orûnn grabbed onto one of his arms but was easily tossed into the air. Paltat made a swing at Billy, but he dodged it and swung his axe into one of Paltat’s left arms. Paltat screeched and went in for another punch, but a Bubby soldier swatted his fist away with a large blunt weapon. Billy jumped onto Paltat’s back and summoned a small handgun, which he then used to repeatedly unload electrifying bolts through Paltat’s body. Paltat fell onto one knee and swung his right arm around his back to try and grab Billy. Billy was too fast for him and swung his axe again, but only giving Paltat a small cut this time. Orûnn launched himself onto Paltat’s upper right arm and started pulling it down. ????: STOP FIGHTING!!!! A loud female voice echoed through the tunnels and startled everybody. Billy and Orûnn jumped off of Paltat and Paltat stood back up, still shaking from being electrocuted. Everyone stood completely still and remained silent for a while. Paltat even had a scared look on his face, and his eye shifted all over the chamber, looking in every direction. Paltat: Its the Queen!
