Seeing this complaint more and more. Again this is just my opinion, so please take no offense, but multiplayer games are meant to be played as a multiplayer.
Saying destiny shoulder cater to single plays is as if saying God if war, Spider-Man, horizon zero dawn, etc, should all have multiplayer modes because I want to play with my friends.
Games should not have to cater to every single persons play styles, desires, wants and needs. If a game doesn’t suit your life style, swap. At the end of the day, it’s a game.

Destiny is not, and never has been, a strictly multiplayer game. Don't twist his words. Nowhere did he state that he wanted Destiny to "cater" to single players. He's asking that it be more helpful when it comes to single players. Big difference. I don't think Destiny will get any better about it, so your comment about swapping games is a good one. I think you're right there.

Edited by SwankyButters: 3/16/2020 12:05:43 PMThey could actually cater to both, they just choose not to. Everything could be match made and it wouldn't affect anyone who Clans and LFG's. There is no way this game was originally meant to have clans, the reason I know this is, it was never mentioned before it launched. So, you need a clan to go in and raid, I never heard that still I owned it. That was a product of people like Luke Smith and I'm sure other nerds at the company. Yes, nerds. I have nothing against them but they should be playing WOW or something like that, not Destiny.

Jesus how you people are annoyn. Affin overwatch is also myltiplayer game, affin CS or whatever. But there I dont have to jump through hoops with annoyn LFGs. Did you play other looterpoopers? They solved that shit long time ago.

Again, the purpose was not to offend anyone. The games you listed also cater to their specific crowd, rather than trying to reach a much larger audience. Over watch targets people who want a team based, pvp experience. A narrow target margin, but what it targets it targets well. Simply saying that destiny does not need to fire such a spread shot to hit various audiences. Their games works very well as a team based, pve experience. Again, apologies if the previous statement somehow offended you to the point of insulting strangers.

Edited by Ardour: 3/16/2020 11:53:57 AMNo worries. I admit, sometimes I get overheated too much. I mentioned OW for a reason. Yes, like Destiny it wants you to play with people. And I can click one button and rock. Guess what? The level of gameplay mechanics implemented in the game is lot higher than we have in D2. Even without a premade teams and mics people show such good level of gameplay and cooperation and sometimes its just feels like well oiled mechanism. THAT game designed to be a multiplayer. And I dont even know anymore what for D2 designed for. Its just not working. That gamedesign approach makes me sick. And its especially painful since I love destiny core gameplay and its amazing art design.
