What is it that you think has changed this season? Why can't solo players progress now when they could previously?
I've progressed perfectly fine and I play mostly solo.

Well, for one, they completely changed how light cap and power grinding works. For two, they've changed the number of bounties and their rewards. For three, they've increased the artificial difficulty of seasonal activities.

Which bounties changed and how did their rewards change? How is the difficulty of the seasonal activity artificial?

Well considering that I'm almost caught up to you in power level after only two weeks of playing after a nearly eight month break and none of your guardians are light level 1000+, I'm gonna guess you don't actually know what you're talking about. You're the one who mentioned progress in your comment, yet it doesn't seem you're even played this game for half the hours I and other players have. To suggest that solo players have no issues obtaining pinnacle gear in the game at current versus the way it was before is ludicrous because it frankly isn't happening. The vast majority of solo players in this game have to make due with a mostly one guardian focussed power grind for powerful gear and perhaps a few pinnacle pieces a week. Before I left, you could successfully solo a powergrind of three guardians each week with a third of the playtime it takes now. The reason is because they changed the power grind into separate tiers, the highest of which are strictly unsoloable. The only soloable ones off the top of my head are the 100k Nightfall and Pit of Heresy. I think Gambit awards Tier 2, but not Pinnacle.

OK, no need to answer simple questions with that attitude. You see, I play 95% solo, I play a lot, and I don't see any change at all. Same amount of bounties, which op said there wasn't, but there is. Only powerfuls I haven't got are... 100,000 nightfall Raids Master nightmare hunt Dungeons This is no different from previously as these were always the powerfuls I couldn't be arsed to do on my own, or wasn't capable of doing on my own. So I ask again, in all seriousness, what's changed?

If you can't understand it now, you'll never understand it. Here is an example of a recent power grind before the changes: https://www.polygon.com/destiny-2-guide-walkthrough/2019/5/29/18638886/crown-of-sorrow-raid-season-opulence-power-level-guide Here is what the power grind looks like now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er5a45PVC_Y Compare the amount of Solo activities vs. Group activities and you tell me.
If you can't understand it now, you'll never understand it.
See, it's comments like these that make me completely hate these forums. Instead of addressing what I said, you come back with that pointless shit. Can't be bothered with people like you at all, always using argumentative language.

None of that answers his question though. Or at least you've not explained why what you listed prevents solo players from progress when previously they could. As a solo player, I'm not experiencing the issue of "I can't play anything because I don't have a fireteam" as most content.... Doesnt require a fireteam

You should have probably clarified that none of your guardians are even above 960, so maybe, JUST MAYBE, you don't know what you're talking about.
-
Not sure what the relevancy of my light level is. Not to mention... You can swap gear around.... You know that right?
-
Oh, trust me. I'm well aware that you don't understand what the relevancy of your light level is.
-
So You gonna explain? Or....?
