I do it solo all the time, load into the area start the event and people join, it's not rocket science.
-
Yeah... Except.. I’ve started a couple and nobody else has turned up. Oh, I’ve seen them in the vicinity but they’ve tended to avoid the mode like the plague.. And I’ve also joined a couple in progress on Io. Anywhere else has seemed a little bit dead.
-
Yeah but those extra guardians aren't always the brightest lights in the system. Always get to ~75% and then people either start dropping or even just leave

Edited by Bleu, Lord of Divinity: 3/16/2020 12:11:19 AMOh I know I've been there raging at the idiot blueberries, but that doesn't change the fact that you can do this event solo. The event will only get easier with time as people level up, learn what to do, and upgrade their bunkers.
-
I understand that you can do it solo, but it's win rate solo is abysmal, to the point where it's like hitting your head up against the wall. You have to get a solid 3-4 man team, and then some randoms too to get it it seems.
-
That’s not a solo then is it smooth brain
-
By colloquial definition no. But for all intents and purposes, you're solo as it doesn't require making a fireteam. So yes and no

Edited by Bleu, Lord of Divinity: 3/15/2020 11:07:24 PMThen please go on and tell me how one goes about doing a public event without people joining in. I've already told you how you can do it as a solo player or does being a solo player mean you can't do anything with other people around?
-
Being a solo player means, no Other Players, Hence no Backup. AKA, Multiplayer Disabled, No Allies, No Outside Help, You vs All. Better point of reference would be like the Fire walled Haunted Forest with just you and no allies on the Fireteam, where nobody else can show up to help without an Invite.
-
It was really a rhetorical question but with that sort of logic then solo players can't do strikes, crucible, public events, etc because then they have teammates.
-
True, which is the reason for the Freelance for PVP, and Nightfalls In PVE

I could start the event solo and people would soon join the area, hence PUBLIC EVENT! It's not like you need any friends, LFGs or interaction with people what so ever to do that. The real answer to all your problems is simply to git gud and stop relying on other people to carry you.
-
You start stating that "You can solo literally everything in the game", key word here being "literally". When confronted with the stupidity of your statement to what OP used as an example (seraph towers), you immediately change to "I could start the event solo and people would soon join the area". Please make a decision, your two interventions contradict each other.

He also said “except raids and trials.”
He also said “except raids and trials.”
So he can solo seraph towers, right? No? Well, that's exactly the point of my reply.

Being a solo player means no one else in your fire team or party / game chat. Solo queueing strikes is when you go in solo and you are matched with random players (blueberries) almost everything in the game has matchmaking so SOLO players can be matched together. Need I go on?
