So now that basically everything requires a team, (cuz I can’t Even solo a seraph tower) and progress In The game, What do I do now? Im a full time dad with a full time job and when I actually have a moment I need to just be able to turn on and go. I can’t do that anymore, I Love this game but I literally had to shelf it right now. Bring back some soloability would you?

There's something here for everyone. You're not supposed to be able to do the most Pinnacle of activities, if you're not seriously invested in this game. It's been this way from the beginning, and will continue to be this way. Just enjoy your slice of the overall Destiny experience.
-
What is it that you think has changed this season? Why can't solo players progress now when they could previously? I've progressed perfectly fine and I play mostly solo.
-
Please tell me you’re joking. I am also a dad. I also have a job. I’m also a solo player. And I also don’t have much time to play. There is virtually NOTHING in this game that can’t be done solo. Raids. Nightfall. Trials. Pretty much it (and even NF can be done solo, depending on the activity level you choose). Whether you like the new content or not is a fair debate. But the seraph towers are very accessible - with mechanics understanding (and a bit of luck with who’s there), you can EASILY complete them at 960 power. The bunker is a bit of a challenge unless you have the right loadout/mods, but it’s also not hard. I haven’t done the legend lost sector yet, but a buddy of mine solo’d it at 970. There’s a lot to complain about in this game. “Nothing can be done solo,” isn’t one of those things.
-
it's a really tough time to try and play destiny 2 solo. you should look for a clan to join
-
I mostly play solo and I just go LFG here in the app for team activities. Its not bad at all you should give it a whirl
-
Dood I’ve been just doing strike playlist and bounties
-
-
Happily, strike, crucible, and gambit weekly milestones will become pinnacle rewards come 4/21
-
the seraph towers are a public event other guardian come in and out as they please you do not need to build a fireteam for it
-
You’re the founder of a clan that has pretty much died out Best to dismantle it & find yourself a huge XB clan (numbers are dwindling on XB platform as it is) Try xAx (Allegiance) they have multiple clans & discord server for solo players to find groups (for everything from patrols/PvP/raids/dungeons etc)

These down votes tell you everything you need to know about the wrong direction this community has gone.

Listen, I'm in the same boat but I did the seraph events solo, just keep loading in the zone till you see a group of people doing it as well. I solo'd the legendary lost sectors also and I'm only 990. Trials is ezpz compared to d1. It's connection based and it's not that big a deal.
-
You can use the app to find a group for seraph missions or bunker clear on the app within minutes. And once you hit about 980 just equip a good smg like recluse with overload rounds and take along Izanagis or use a heavy machine gun and the champions should go down pretty easily.

Edited by Smough: 3/15/2020 10:59:39 PMIf you don’t even have enough time to find a decent clan or quickly lfg a group of people then I highly doubt you have enough time to do anything in this game except for some patrols and maybe a strike or two. This game isn’t for full time dads, it’s not being advertised for them, and it’s certainly not being designed for them. Destiny 2, especially in year 3 and likely beyond, is designed for people who can put 2-5+ hours almost every day farming tedious bounties and quests. Sorry if you have a hard time accepting that, but it’s the truth.

Damn. But who asked?
-
Uhm, no. And did you know that Nokris has nipple piercings? Fact check me.
-
I actually recommend breath of the wild... I know your forced to play as a 13 year old but he dosent even talk so you forget his even there... To be honest iv wanted an MMO of that game ever since I beat it... BTW there is no new game plus so RIP

I’m going to have to agree and disagree. There are things in this game you can solo, granted not everything, especially if you are below the light level or if it does require a team. However, Destiny is indeed better experience with players, friends and randoms who give you fun laughs. Joining randoms as goofy as me makes getting destroyed during my Trials of Osiris runs (Can’t get 3rd win gang where you at?) worth it.

I used LFG for the Pit of Heresy and 100k nightfall. Everything else was done solo. Pit of Heresy can be done solo also, but I’m not there yet. The public event isn’t meant to solo. I do count matchmade activities as solo since I don’t have to use LFG or anything to form a fire team.
-
Hay I totally agree, if you ever see me on and want some help hit me up... I'd be glad to do whatever..
-
I have done every activity in the game this week x3 solo or lfg i only told ppl to use a mic during the raid so how are solo player -blam!-ed
-
Use the app and quickly find a team. My best run of heroic menagerie was with a no mic team from destiny app's fireteam section. Flawless boss kil and clean as can be.

I soloed the legendary lost sectors at 975 and if you play the warmind public event in the evening more people will spawn

Edited by Sarges24: 3/16/2020 1:10:23 AMI play with a friend or two sometimes but I mainly solo... I've upgraded the Bunker to lvl 3 as of last night. Bounties, bounties, bounties, weeklies, and weeklies along with Seraph Towers, lots of them. When it comes to the Seraph Towers just start one and hope people join. Or travel, relaunch and hope you find one that is going on with a few people. I've noticed that often people just don't want to start them so if there are a few people in Winding Cove just start it up and they'll usually jump in and others will load in to join... I will say this season does suck but there's still plenty you can do and get done as a solo player. 2 cents.
