This isn't a rant or someone complaining about aim assist and the problems I have with it, I know that it's necessary in a fast shooter like this but there could be an option to turn it off. Please don't come in here with petty personal opinions or saying that my points are invalid, it's just my opinion no reason to get annoyed. Don't tell me to just get a PC, I'm a student and I just play games for fun and enjoyment.
Section .1 (My Experience)
I got into gaming around 2009 and played mostly FPS and RPG's. In FPS games I saw the option to turn off aim assist so occasionally I did, it never went well for the first bit but I got used to it. In Black Ops 2 zombies I always turned aim assist off, it was nice being able to look and shoot specific enemies in the hoard. This continued in Borderlands 2 and now in 3.
Section .2 (Types of Aim Assist)
Destiny and the Aim Assist mechanics. "Magnetism" is not the worst, it is annoying when shooting at an enemy that's barely poking around a corner because it redirects bullets into their centre and their behind a wall so it hits the wall instead. "Snapping" is ok and only bad in point blank situations, when it auto-locks the wrong target it's normally fine but since other aim assist types are also active getting the reticle off of the target and onto the right one is finicky . "Friction" is the big one, everybody who plays knows when an enemy jumps across your reticle you get pulled with them, this is the one that I want to be able to turn off. There are more but their not as big so i'm going to leave it at that for this article.
Section .3 (Why I Want The Option)
Why I want to be able to turn off aim assist, because I feel much better playing without, a lot more comfortable. That's it, my grand reason. It makes me feel more comfortable and happy.
Thanks, if you actually read my not rant rant.
This is not a complaint or anything like that just my opinion I will play regardless of aim assist.

in my opinion the more options the better, if you wanna have the disadvantages of not having aim assist go for it. It should be an option.
