I have an idea for an alternative Warlock sword skate
Most people know that prior to the season of the worthy's change to swords, warlocks were able to perform a technique that would send the player flying forward at a faster pace then normal. In the new season this was changed by not allowing warlocks to activate glide while in mid sword swing animation. One of my favorite things to do in Destiny 2 would be to equip the WorldLine Zero and utilize Temporal Sprint in combination with the Warlock glide to fly across mega gaps mega fast (on a second note, why does Temporal Sprint take so long to recharge now?). However I do understand the change had to be made to make swords the same across every character class. In response to this however I have an idea, for you, Bungie, where we can both be happy.
I overall believe that me along with many other Warlock mains enjoyed the ability to wiz across the map like that, so I have a way to fix this issue. EXOTICS. First off we already have an ability that allows us to move fairly move efficiently, it being Icarus dash. I would very much enjoy an exotic armor addition to the game that improves Icarus dash (not that its bad now; it's very good now) in a way that it allows you to move in a way WorldLine Zero once did without breaking the game. I hope Bungie takes this into consideration when the start to run out of ideas for warlock exotics later down the line.
Sincerely,
your everyday Warlock Main
