[Possible spoilers ahead, be sure to watch that frenzy meter]
Yea, I’m finally at the Gherman fight( Gerhman? Greenman? I don’t remember the spelling >_>). Only took me two years.... no biggie
But, anyways, to continue the topic, as I finish Bloodborne, I finally realized that Bloodborne is not a game but... rather a journey of achievement...
It’s a dance of love and hate, of bloodlust and caution, and of dodging and dying... a dance of progress, if you will. And that’s truly what I like about Bloodborne... just that feeling of ”I really did this...” after slaying something straight out of your nightmares.
Back when I was a good ol’ young hoonter, I barely knew how to swing an axe even if my life depended on it, but now, I can swing an axe hard enough to slam Ebrietas’ arse straight into the cosmos’ afterlife.
The game asked of me two things: 1) To learn its dance, and 2) to demonstrate that dance. And through this journey, the game forces you to meet both points.
And now, as I sit here, reminiscing about the times where Cleric Beasts could turn my hunter into a pile of flesh, I realize that I’ve come a long way in this journey.
I’m beginning to wrap up the Chalice Dungeons before I head on to NG+, and I’ve defeated all the bosses in the main game. The point of this post is essentially to say that Bloodborne is a journey that kicks your ass in twelve different ways, but that ass-kicking is what truly makes it a journey.
I suggest getting the game if you want a memorable experience. I understand if ya can’t get into the Soulsborne series (I mean, I nearly gave up on the game when Darkbeast Paarl kept putting me in the slammer), but definitely give it a shot before saying it’s not entirely for you... cuz it truly is an artwork of a game...
.... Hope NG+ goes smoothly... (It probably won’t...). Been a while since my last Bloodborne post, but my journey for the good blood ends here, er... okay, it ends after my NG+ playthrough... but it’s been a good journey thus far.
I finally did it Aifos... I finally did it.

Good. Now go try to beat Laurence in the Old Hunters DLC.
-
If you decide to play the DLC don't do it on NG+++ like I did. You're going to have a bad time.
-
Excellent! I'm really excited for the board game on the way!
-
All I know is that game should come to PC/Xbox so I can play it. Screw this exclusive thing!
-
I got platinum on Bloodborne 2 weeks ago. One of my proudest trophies
-
But did you get the umbilical cords? You totally need to get the umbilical cords.
-
Congratulations. One of the best games ever made in my opinion. Have you played the Old Hunters DLC?
-
BuNp Glad to see you around!

Operator 6O to Cell-3, come in Cell. I just heard the great news, congratulations! Looks like you’ve got one incoming delivery of one home-made celebration cake from Skullheart Aifos, pending approval. It kind of looks disgusting, to be honest, but I guess it’s the thought that counts! Anyway, should I send it over?
-
Ahhhh! He did it! He did it, he did it, he did it! *pulls you into a great big necromancer hug* I’m so proud of you, Cell! Why, I remember when you were just a wee hoonter, who tried for hours on end just to beat Paarl, and look at’cha now! You deserve a reward! Yes, a reward is definitely in order! *pulls out phone* Operator? Do you hear me? Phone: “Oh, hey Aifos, reading you loud and clear!” Cell just finished Bloodborne! Send him a reward, please! Phone: “Really? How exciting! I’ll be sure to send something over right away!”
