Anarchy is not normally used as a tool to set up traps. The idea has always been there and some people do use it for setting up things sometimes, but it is typically used similarly to other grenade launchers as a means for DPS.
Well in the new Seraph Tower events, I quickly took notice of just how useful the trap-side of the weapon actually is there. If you spread your mines out far enough from each other, you can effectively cut off enemy movement from many directions. With Shanks, you may have to watch them in case they fly over the traps or find a way to put one of your mines at an elevated level so it can trigger for them more reliably. Sticking a miniboss with one of the mines is good to do as well since there can be a lot of mines around to chain from already.
And did you know that Anarchy counted as an Aggressive Frame before the update? Its reserves went up from 21 to 26 after the season change. Was the damage altered? Hard for me to say.
So far from my experience with the event at the EDZ, it seems you normally fight two Overload Captains after you charge the tower. However on a perfect run I had using Anarchy where no enemies interfered with the charge, the Champions at the end were instead two Barrier Servitors. That was the only time I saw them appear during the event. There was nothing else different about it from my first experience with them. It might be possible that there is some Heroic version of the event if you do a perfect run and maybe I didn't meet all of the conditions, but I don't know yet.
This or any crazy people with a risk runner can do a very nice job clearing those plates. We tried having both and it made that thing too easy.
