Hi Bungie Team,
on Friday 6th of March at German Time around 21:35- 21:42 it happened.
We where playing competitive and i was at exact 5500 Rank points.
Our Team was a 3 Man Premade Team and the others a double Team same Guild and one Random.
Match was on Burnout Map Survival:
The First 3 Rounds where dominated by them and then we made a comeback to 2:3
Then i saw one of the guys running to cliffside to the farthes corner at cliffside trying to hide there. I thought nice from him so i could get an angle on him in that deadend spot.
My position was coming from "Bombplace A" watching through tunnel to Cliffside area.
So from my view he ran to farthest right corner right at cliffside.
Then i made some shots at his area to nail him down there, so he wouldnt come out.
For around 10 seconds no movement from other team. A Stalemate it seemed.
Then i gave callout that i wanted to push the guy hidden in that corner.
My teammates started to attack the other two at their far right tunnel side. Also their view to cliffside far left.
Then it happened. Screen went black, giving me Network error codes i cant remember, and then i was kicked out.
Internet gone.
I did check my Fritzbox at once and it was RESETTED. No Event entrys about what happened in the log to check what had happened. A Reset deletes the event Log.
So as i see it, i was NETWORK Manipulated out of the Match so the other team had better chances.
Please Check up on this and see yourself what happened.
I am really disappointed that such can happen and i never thought this would happen to me ever.
Thought your peer to peer was a secure place without such shenanigans from Bad people who do everything to win a match.
PS:
I am just a medium Player with lots of invested Time in Destiny but having reached 5500 in competitive is a feat i never done before and then something like this happened.
In all those 2 years a disconnect like that never happened to me.
Other crashes and disconnects ofc, but never like that in PvP.

Edited by RAIST5150: 3/7/2020 9:24:00 PMIf your router reset, something else was likely going on. Unless the flooding caused the router to overheat or something... in which case it may be time to take a closer look at your network as some replacements/upgrades may be needed. For it to reset, either someone forced it through an exploit or other form of remote access, or it is getting flakey and is not holding up well under heavy loads. If your hardware is managed by your ISP, something may have been going on from their end that caused a reboot. Even though it was an extremely unfortunate time for it to happen, it doesn't necessarily mean it was specifically from a DDoS attack. Hard to prove either way without any kind of log for the bogus connection attempts and such. A DDoS will basically just flood your network with sort of half-open connections so it exhausts resources and bogs the crap out of things. And it usually lasts for quite a while... it isn't something that generally recovers with a reboot--unless that results in you getting a different public IP address, as that is what they are attacking. Fill out the report form here, including the link to the match from your history. They may be able to find some wrong doing through their logs. May want to note the time/date and forward the details to your ISP as well, in case they may be able to track something through either your modem's logs or elsewhere within their network.
