I've got Destiny 2 on Xbox One and tinkered around a bit, but to me it looks like there's just so much going on. What do you recommend to do first in Destiny 2, and what to do afterwards?

To get started, try a strike. It's a good way to run around and get a feel for the gun mechanics of the game. Next, try the Mida Multi tool or Sturm/Drang quest. These are both good exotics, and if you don't have any they are both great starter exotics. Next, play a campaign. This is optional, but you won't regret it. Plus, several exotic quests and exotic rewards are tied to campaign, such as sunshot, an explosive hand cannon, Graviton Lance, the two burst pulse that shoots black holes, Polaris lance, the scout rifle that never runs out of ammo if you hit headshots and causes the 5th headshot to explode and cause burn damage, The Last Word, the cowboy big iron that is currently the best hand cannon in the game, Thorn, the posion hand cannon, Lumina, the only weapon built around being a dedicated healer, Ace of Spades, the favored gun of our hunter Vangaurd Cayde-6, which is still a top tier gun in all scenarios including PVP gamemodes. I don't reccomend playing PvP until you have a good feel of how the game works, becase the PvP in this game is in a shotgun meta and you will get slid into and anniahlated (is that how you spell it?). Try and get bunches of legendary shards, these can be used to purchase lots of items, but most importantly can be used to purchase exotic gear from a secret vendor called Xur, who appears every weekend from friday at 10:00 am PST and leaves at weekly reset on Tuesday at 10:00 AM PST. He changes his location every week, so go to whereisxur.com to find his location. If you have two friends that play the game often, ask if they can carry you through the Outbreak Perfected Quest. Have fun, do what you like and expand your arsenal of unique weapons and armor. And whatever you do, DON"T PLAY IRON BANNER UNTIL YOU HAVE AT LEAST 960 LIGHT LEVEL. YOU WILL FEEL PHYSICAL PAIN.
