I really want to build my YouTube and twitch channels but I don’t want to be that guy in every chat or comment section saying “Subcribe to Toxic Ear5”. Comes off really annoying, so if anyone can give so advice on how to do this I would appreciate it.

If you have something related on the topic you can maybe somehow bring your channel/video into the conversation semi natural.
Sub 2 Aceman
I don’t think your username including the word “toxic” is very helpful

If you have good content then tell your friends. Then if they like it then they will tell their friends. If they like it then your pretty much set.

You can’t, just stop caring about being annoying and do it 🤷♂️

Option A: Bot accounts that increase "views" to make your channel seem more popular and, in turn, bump it up on suggested lists. Option B: Hope you get lucky and word of mouth spreads. Option C: Make quality content then spam... Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam your channel to hell and back... everywhere. You'll get banned but people will notice you, and there's no such thing as bad publicity, right? Eventually they'll forget why they hated you. Option D: Come from a rich family and fake it till you make it. The Offtopic Approach: Come up with a really annoying gimmick that rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Make sure you're really disliked in the community. Eventually trolls will start siding with you because they think it's funny. "Disappear" for a while (say, a couple months), then return and act relatively normal. You'll have name recognition and the trolls will happily welcome you back and when people see you're not behaving like a douche they'll start claiming they always liked you too as you had "quality shitposts". Personally, I say just enjoy making your content. Don't worry about viewers. If they come, great! If not, at least you're having fun.

Every now and then make a post titled "how can i self promote without being annoying?" And in it you say something along the lines of "I really want to build my YouTube and twitch channels but I don’t want to be that guy in every chat or comment section saying “Subcribe to Toxic Ear5”. Comes off really annoying, so if anyone can give so advice on how to do this I would appreciate it."

Edited by Yanoos: 3/5/2020 3:36:15 AMI’d say don’t advertise yourself on other people’s videos or content cuz that definitely comes across as annoying. If you have social media’s maybe create a second account about your gaming and you can post stuff there about it. Idk what platform your playing on but on Xbox you can write something about your channel or stream in your bio and you can probably do this with your PlayStation or steam account too. As far as getting viewers to like you I’ve always enjoyed interactive streamers who play with their viewers and communicate with them. I don’t have a yt account but I’d sub if I did. Hope this helps! Also for content maybe if you like editing try making a montage. A good montage is super satisfying to watch.

Depends on your content. For example I needed some help with a game and had a guy tell me the answer but also link me to his video explaining it. I stayed to watch a few others.
