Lfg Community
Almost all of the lfg posts for this require you to already know what to do and it needs to stop. I have played this game since Destiny 1 LAUNCH and moving into Destiny 2 I know only 1 raid from the second game up to the boss of it. Lfg groups start the day after raids and dungeons come out and have the nerve to require you to have certain guns (which mostly you need a team to get ' and lfg requires you know how to get it...to get it'), have mods, a certain power level, and already know the raid or dungeon open joining. Im sick of it. New light players have no way of learning other than watching youtube, only to say they know it to join and get fussed at because it shows that they haven't actually done it! And now they still dont know it because they have been kicked!!! Same with comp. If I have over 4000 comp score already...i don't need your help. So why do these teams require such high scores? And for those who literally have all the comp guns (recluse, luna, not forgotten), go home lol. Stop gate keeping. You even have the title and seal along with the emblem. Go lfg for a private match or something. Stop ruining the grind for others because you want to stroke your own ego.

Anyone can join just KWTD. Oh you don't have this certain weapon to be efficient, yea nevermind. That is LFG basically. They expect you to have every weapon and know every raid, dungeon, etc, frontwards and backwards. When people see that you don't have certain load outs or weapons, people don't bother with you. The sad truth.

Make your own group with a bunch of people like you. That's what I do when i want to get a raid done that I haven't done before. GOS first attempt lf5m no requirements just be patiant and chill. That's literally what I would post and normally you get at least 1 person who has completed it. Just try to learn each encounter as much as possible and you will eventually be able to join a serious group who kwtd or even better you will all get it done.

There's nothing wrong with requesting players who know raid mechanics. Not everyone has the time to be a sherpa.

And btw people who wants kwtd players because they want to get it through quickly and smoothly especially challenges like flawless and triumphs for seals, no one cares that your a D1 Vet, i'm a D1 Vet and they did this in D1 as well and also using a specific gun is a thing in D1 as well so nothing really change. People want to maximize dps, they dont want to do more than 2 phases. If New Light players want to learn new things, maybe make a post online asking for help or like I said at the start, if you're on discord destinylfg go on the sherpa channel. For the comp stuff, it makes sense, comp players wants specific score to know if your a competent player and wont ruin their streak or score. I rarely do comp due to hackers atm. Title's, seals and emblem mean nothing in terms of gameplay, good for you that you got the title but are you competent enough to do it? Anyone could get them and be bad at the game. My friend has Unbroken and he's dreadful at PvP. I don't see how this ruins the grind, it encourages it more than anything, you need izanagi's to join them? Go and get it. You need a certain grenade launcher to join? Go and get it etc etc. One last thing, don't use you D1 Vet as an excuse to prove your point, I personally find it annoying and don't really care. 5 RepliesWe want as smooth and quick raid as we can manage and if people cant be bothered to prepare for the raid by doing research and acquiring the most useful weapons prior to their search for an LFG group then as hosts for the group, we shouldn't have to settle for the unprepared if other put more effort in.

10 RepliesThat's not it. Theres so much to do, so little time. Teaching someone a raid is literally a full time job. The game has been out so long, no one wants to do that.. again. On top of theres so much to get.. no time to "waste". Playing this game solo is.. interesting.. Since the game has been out so long, people are well teamed up. If you're new, you will face those teams. This can, and will lead to frustration that will exacerbate your mood and cause you to come on here and say things you shouldn't. If you're new, teams wont like you. You will "take" time. I dont like what I've just told you. No one should. If your first thought after reading this is anything but what can you do to help, you're part of the problem. Morpheus
