“The Watchtower” I said, staring at the beautiful structure that lay in front of me. We were at the edge of the Tangled Shore, 7 of the 8 Scorn Barons lie dead, now it was just Uldren and the Fanatic left. I ascended the Watchtower and arrived at a courtyard. Fikrul, The Fanatic, was there, he guarded the way towards Uldren Sov. “I’d like to see how you feel after I kill you. How do you feel, killing the others, tell me!” He said. All I could do was aim Malfeasance, I was just standing there, seemingly frozen in place. Then, Fikrul decided to lunge at me, he thrusted his spear into the ground, managed to block it with a well timed use of my arc staff. Fikrul lunged again, I leapt towards him, my staff struck him dead on, and when the staff had struck him, his spear fell to the ground with a mighty thud. I picked up the staff and broke it to pieces. I then summoned a Golden version of Malfeasance, twirled it, and then stuck directly on Fikrul’s forehead.
“Any Last Word’s, Fanatic?” I said.
Fikrul said nothing, he stood there, motionless, as if waiting for me to fire. I pulled the trigger and he erupted into flames, not before vowing to take revenge against me.

I went through an Ascendant Portal and made it to the central terminus of the Watchtower, I arrived just in time to see Uldren be sacrificed to the Voice of Riven. I could hear his screams, his call for help, I decided here and now that I would end this, for Cayde, for Andal Brask, for Maelstrom. I decided to pull out Thorn and duel wield both Thorn and Malfeasance. I fired continuously upon the Ascendant Chimera, I went through the Ascendant Plane and back again, eventually having to resort to some of Toland’s tricks to stay alive. I required every ounce of my Light to overcome this challenge. I used my Golden Gun to destroy some out the surrounding rock that blocked part of the arena, I used my knives to try and rip off the tentacles of the Chimera. When I entered the Ascendant Plane again I resorted to using my Arc Staff to aid me whenever I fell. When I made it out of the Ascendant Plane for the third, and last, time, I had decided to use my Spectral Blades to once again try to rip off the tentacles of the Chimera, yet it failed to my surprise. I used my bow to tether the Chimera in place for the killing blow. Executive was summoned one last time and I cleaved the Voice of Riven’s tentacles off, it screeched in pain, yet it would still continue to suffer.

I ended the Chimera by blasting it dead with some Tainted rounds from both Thorn and Malfeasance. Uldren was lying there on the floor when Petra arrived, she asked who would kill Uldren, I decided to do it myself, not before asking Uldren if he had any last words to say. He spoke his final words, “The line between Light and Dark is so very thin, which side are you on?”, I aimed directly at his heart and fired the last bullet that was left in Ace directly into the fiend’s heart. He died then and there. I had successfully avenged Cayde-6. There would be peace for some time, until we would have to be called back to the Moon. Yet before that happened, we put memorials for Cayde in the Hangar, the Noodle Shop, and I personally had a memorial for Cayde in my personal quarters in the Evergreen, the base of operations that we used during the Red War. The Evergreen was positioned 500 miles away from Felwinter Peak and The Iron Temple. We only had to wait until the next threat would arise, and that threat would come sooner, rather than later.

Great job! Just work on the pacing a bit. Parts of the story seem very quick, which makes it hard to stay in the moment. Where are you going next with the story? The moon I take it?
