Concealed within a fog bank and surrounded by large shards of jagged obsidian that wreck ships foolish enough to approach. Beaches of black sand and red moss give way to a swamp of willow trees, carnivorous flowers, creeping thorny vines, and large patches of moss, all bioluminescent in deep shades of blues, reds, and purples. Occupied by strange creatures adapted to this alien ecosystem. Felines, bats, and large insects all bioluminescent aswell. But also strange serpentine creatures with scales, leathery wings, too many blades legs, and faces like blooming flowers full of teeth. At the center of the island, rising from the brackish waters, a ziggurat of bismuth. A gleaming maze of ramps and passages leading to the peak where a dim greenish light pulses from the edges along a triangular pit. Music can be heard faintly from the pit, but despite the light, all is darkness. [spoiler]And that's all I've got off the top of my head.
