Being penalized for leaving a match, on the results screen, after the ranking animation plays for completing a match
I'll preface this by admitting my internet is acting up, however if I get an end screen and a rank increase animation then match is over and complete. So if my internet kicks me when the game is clearly over, there should be no penalty for something that didn't happen.
It might be the same issue causing the announcer to play "loss" audio for winning a match where you come from behind by 1 point, there's some sort of issue with the game acknowledging the end of the game trigger at a precise point.

2 RepliesThis has been a recurring issue for over a year now. Even if you didn't get kicked, if you're at the results screen and instead of waiting out the auto-orbit timer you select to manually go to orbit you can randomly be dinged as a loss. So if you get a disconnect at the same place in the match then it wouldn't surprise me if you randomly got a loss on your account. When it comes to network issues that would be on you to address those issues so you don't experience this problem going forward. For other times, just avoid manually going to orbit, let the timer fully complete and the system automatically take you to orbit to avoid getting tagged with an inappropriate loss.
