How do I unlink my Xbox Live account with Bungie?
I found someone else on Bungie who is linked to my Xbox live account. I have no idea who they are or how they got linked to my Xbox account, but I would like to unlink them. So far, I have removed Bungie's access to my Xbox Live account on the Microsoft website. Is this enough, or is there a Bungie-side method I can use? As of five minutes after removing permissions, the profile still says it's linked to my Xbox profile. I'm not sure if it takes awhile to sync or if he still has access.

The only way to unlink an account from a profile is to use the unlink function in accounts and linking. To verify you are the owner of the account it does require you to authenticate the unlink by entering the credentials for the account you wish to remove. If you do not know the credentials nor can obtain the credentials then you will never be able to remove that account from that Bungie profile. As the unlink requires the log in credentials, Bungie themselves are unable to assist in getting an account unlinked as they can't circumnavigate that security requirement either and they do not have access to player's platform log in credentials, again for security reasons.
