Destiny 2 Alexa Ghost Speaker: That Serial Number was not Correct

I have a Destiny 2 Ghost Speaker that connects to Alexa. Everything seems to be connected. The center blue light of the ghost is on indicating it's connected to wifi, but when I tell Alexa to Activate Ghost 00XX-XXXX Alexa responds "That Serial Number was not correct, what else would you like to ask Ghost?" It's the same serial number I used to connect to the internet. Are these devices no longer working now that Activision and Bungie split? The Activision support info is in the box, but the pages are gone from the Activision site.
