So I know its not daily, but as suggested by Hella Strange, I am going to start numbering the fish facts. Don't worry I still am going to try my best to make them daily! (I also thought it would be cool to see how many we get through)
Unfortunately I forget which paper mentioned this, but this is not a scientific journal so oh well: Deep sea coral have an inverse relationship with growth and age. When young, most species grow rapidly (granted rapidly is still micrometers) and as they grow older their growth begins to get slower and slower.

I don't know if this has been mentioned as a fact before, but sharks actually live in active volcanoes.
