Okay so i recently did something absolutely unforgivable in Destiny 2 a few days ago, and I got banned
The thing I did was.. (it gets gruesome)
I gave myself 1 Legendary shard because i was curious and bored (went from 129 to 130)
What I did was absolutely horrible, its definitely on terms with aim botting, DDOSing, invincibility, auto rifle like pulse rifle hack, Insta kill, etc.
What i did put me on at an insane advantage over other players, and the best part. My game crashed immediately after the change, loaded back in and it was undone. The hack was unforgivable and made all of the players die in pure rage.
Even tho I bought over $100 in silver, 3 DLCs, 1 Season pass, i submitted 2 ban appeals confessing my crime, and me being very very sorry, saying I'm very very sorry. I still got both appeals rejected via automatic message (being the same thing twice)
I want your opinion on this, and decide as a person, not a computer or person wanting there day over with.
I will answer all questions you guys have after the email thread I had with "bungie"

I feel as if this ban was unfair, or atleast deserves more than "Due to the nature of the punishment you are appealing and the results of our review" please tell me more information.

damn, im really sorry for cheating, but i only added 1 shard as a test, i never planned on doing more. please i spent money on this game, easily over $100, and i have around 500 hours onsteam not counting blizzard. please review this case again, or say if i have done more that would make it a permanent ban, i'll be fine with 2 weeks, i just want to keep playing your game.

I was banned because i used cheat engine to give myself 1 legendary shard, (129-130.) I was just curious in case it would work, which is why i stayed away from Silver and bright dust. I was never gonna go beyond my test, and i never will.

The most that could be done, at least reward me the season pass exclusives for season 8 and 9. (Eriana's Vow, Its catalyst, Symmetry, the ornaments, Its catalyst, exotic ornament. Leviathans breath and devils ruin) I just want my time and work to be atleast re-acheivable.

Im sorry

i spent $130 on silver alone on PC, i have been a loyal player since the taken king for destiny 1, i even attended the beta for destiny 2.

To be brutally blunt, it's one of the big no-no's in their TOS. I'm not aware of any game with an online competitive element that would turn a blind eye to something like this. From their point of view, and indeed many others, that 'one shard' is the tip of the iceberg, to see what flies under the radar. It is sad to lose progress like that, and I feel for you, truly. But I'd side with Bungo on this one.
