Should Bungie bring back Refer-A-Friend for Destiny 2 New Light?
With New Light changing the new game experience I think this would be a great time to bring back refer-a-friend.
A lot of people are confused about what to do, where to go, etc. and I think this would be great for everyone.
Should Bungie consider bringing this back for New Light?

Why would i want to ruin any friendship by inviting them into destiny 2? Bungie honestly could not pay me enough to bring a friend onto the game and say hey this won't ever get dull!

Won't happen. Refer a Friend was a marketing ploy to use word of mouth to sell the game (and expansions). Since New Light is F2P they simply don't gain enough to warrant keeping it, which is why it was removed in the first place.

5 RepliesThis is how I was introduced to the game in D1. It was awesome to have a veteran show me the ropes. Thoroughly enjoyed tagging along behind him and his friend, listening to them discuss different elements in the game. Definitely a positive thing in the game.
