I have this issue often when many grenades and/or explosions are part of the combat zone. I lose the sight and can't see the enemy anymore but they do see me perfectly.
I am not talking about smoke grenades. I talk about regular ones like Vortex/Pulse/Solar Grenades as same as the void outbreak grenades Hunters have.
When they do Show their textures it can happen that I can't see the enemy aiming throught their sniper (because solar grenades can block the emitted colors of the red glare). Or I can't see the enemy altogether (Vortex/Void Grenade because of the dark tones absorbing some emitted light from armor).
Arc grenades do that barely and I have very rarely an issue with them. The only major problem with them is, that we can't differ them from enemy ones sometimes.
Everyone with a common sense of light physics should know that certain colors absorb certain light lengths.
I see no reason in making pvp high texture graded for the cost of visibility and transparency. It is just annoying and sabotaging the gameplay.

I thought I was the only one who has this problem. Something about the colors and texture messes with my eyes.

I can't see squat when I use a roaming super. Too many colors flashing across the screen. Messes with the defect in my pupils.

It’s strategic Try using a vortex grenade as cover

I cant see enemies when there are a lot of particle effects on screen either. I don't fight it, it's just how my eyes work. I'm also colorblind. I don't even try to be good, because it's just not happening.
