I've been playing FPS games since Halo 2 on Xbox and since then I've always played all kinds of different FPS games with a Controller, i've been playing Destiny since 2014 and Destiny 2 since its release on Xbox One with the controller. Now I want to start playing with Mouse and Keyboard, i could go and buy a complete gaming pc, monitor etc. But its so expensive and just not for me. I would love for Mouse and Keyboard support for Destiny 2 on consoles as for example Microsoft lets developers add M&K support to their own games now. Would love to learn how to use M&K and start using that in Destiny 2 as it seems to run smoother and better with it instead of an controller.

I agree with the OP, put M&K on console. Time to take off the training wheels. Make this the new standard in gaming. All hell will break loose. Let god sort it out... (I have friends who insist they are every bit as good on controller as the best players on M&K)

Xim or Cronus is your only option currently. It is dictated from the game company itself and not consoles. Both consoles support mnk. It is considered unfair though.. the above recommendation... due to the fact they have mods and tricks the system into thinking it is just a third party controller and therefore you get controller aim assist. Now, it is not nearly as smooth as true mnk support.. but it does provide an advantage if you know how/are good with mnk.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/10/2020 3:03:09 PMI don't feel it's a good idea. For the potential console MnKB users it is, but not for the console controller users. I think it's safe to say MnKB is the superior FPS input device. Faster flicks and overall crosshair movement with better accuracy. The best MnKB user will outperform the best controller user. It would not be fair to let MnKB users into the same pvp matchmaking pool with controller users on a platform that has controllers as the default device. If you want to play with MnKB, get access to the platform where MnKB is the default device instead. There it doesn't give you inherent advantage and you can enjoy a fair experience with everyone else. Also for a disclaimer, I'm a PC + MnKB player only. I played with a controller for years and definetly prefer MnKB right now.
