Hey,
Seems to be some mixed messages regarding the use of hardware-based automation to remove the burden of clicking endlessly for specific NPCs. Given the ongoing restoration effort, the use of Spider to purchase vast amounts of Glimmer has become helpful.
The confusion comes from this post made by Bungie:
"No part of the decision to ban your account was related to any macro software. Automating trivial tasks (especially for accessibility reasons) is allowed. Players will only punished for automation when it circumvents challenges all players face during gameplay (auto-aim, trigger-bot, etc)." — Not me, obviously.
What is Bungie's stance on using, for example, Corsair iCUE to automate the clicking (which purchases the materials from Spider's NPC screen)?
Thanks.

Completely illegal as it modifies clicking. Anything that modifies an original function will get u banned
