“This is Commander Karov Drëk, all shuttles are to divert all of the fire from Xreksis’ armada away from General Reed.” Karov said over the intercom. The group that led the first, and final, assault on Xreksis and his House of Shroud was always remembered as Hawking’s Sovereign. Their main goal was to neutralize any major threats to the City at large. —————-—————-—————-—————-—————-———————— The Awoken ships darted in between the tens of Ketches that were in their way. Odin-1 was ordered to neutralize all of the Ketches that he saw. “Odin, you are clear to fire” Karov told the Exo. “With pleasure.” He replied, his face was bright with excitement. Then, with the force of a supernova, all of the 85 Ketches that blocked the path were destroyed in a brilliant display of Rasputin’s Might. All that was left was the Luminux, Xreksis’ command ship. The shuttle was 9 times larger than a regular Ketch, and it contained some very deadly Fallen weaponry on board. The shuttle was painted black and was equipped with multiple cloaking devices because of it’s massive size. —————-—————-—————-—————-—————-———————— Maelstrom’s personal shuttle, the Riptide flew into position at the head of the fleet. “This is like the start of the Taken War all over again.” He said. “Yeah, yet at least this time we aren’t dealing with a super-weapon that can destroy entire armadas and dent a hole in a planet’s set of rings.” Karov replied. The fleet drew nearer towards the Luminux, thousands of skiffs went in their direction, intent on wiping them out. Maelstrom had an idea, he set Riptide to autopilot and then backflipped out of the cockpit. He landed on a skiff and then proceeded to unleash a deadly laser of Arc energy onto all of the skiffs that were nearby. They all blew up in a majestic spectacle of power and dominance. Maelstrom then got back into his ship and decided that he must go the rest of the journey alone. —————-—————-—————-—————-—————-———————— “I’m going the rest of the way alone, no one of you is coming with me, you hear.” He said over the intercom Karov reacted with fury, knowing what he would do was suicidal. Maelstrom then crashed his shuttle into the command deck of the Luminux. He told his ghost to transmat all of the Arc explosives onto all vital parts of the Luminux. Blade did this immediately without question. Maelstrom then caught sight of Xreksis and challenged the Kell to a duel. Reed then clapped his hands, two blades made of Taken energy were now in his hands. He found the two blades after he killed off a high ranking Taken Captain, a former Kell of one of the other Fallen Houses. Him and Xreksis dueled throughout the ship, the final room that they dueled was the reactor room. —————-—————-—————-—————-—————-———————— When Maelstrom had Xreksis at his knees he activated the explosives. The whole entire Warship blew up with such a force that it had started a massive storm across the surface of Saturn’s Moon of Enceladus. Maelstrom died that day of unknown causes. Some say that he killed his own ghost so as to prevent himself from reviving. He didn’t use Thorn to do it, he used the swords that he had in his to stab his ghost in the eye and then he stabbed himself through the chest, we don’t know why he did this and yet we miss him all the same.
