Since the very beginning, from the original ghost, the loot cave, Randal the vandal; to the raids, strikes and trials. I've made friends that I cherished, memories that I love, and moments that stick out to me because of you guys. As the title says, I want to thank you. You guys kept me entertained for years, gave me content that I enjoyed. But I can't thank you for the current state of destiny 2. I recently went back to play the previous destiny and was flooded with nostalgia, everything I've done and the work I put into the game. It made me smile to have to old weapon and subclass systems back. The crucible didn't feel like I had to used meta weapons to compete, but instead I could use whatever I want. (I never got taken king so I still only have weapons from PoE and before) it was a real breath of fresh air to get away from the D2 toxicity that is crucible. I was happy to get my arc blade back. Blink on a hunter... It's beautiful. The supers all felt balanced too. The options I had with my subclass abilities was great too. The exotics felt like they had a place too. Because you made the weapon system different, you made some exotics feel less unique and had to compensate by changing their abilities a bit. But I miss the time when having to run a sniper/shotty combo required an exotic sacrifice and didn't punish you for being so bold. I guess what I'm trying to say IS thank you. I'm not in love with Destiny the franchise, but the first iteration of Destiny. I don't expect you to read this fully, but if you can you give me a sign so I can know? I really do appreciate what you guys do and I know you mean well. While I do enjoy Destiny 2, the first Destiny just captures me better. [spoiler]if there was one thing I can have back from D1, between the weapon system and subclass system, I choose the subclass every time.[/spoiler]
