Once you hit that threshold it's such a pain to kill people. They are red bar and it is like shooting popcorn.

You take 10% more and do 10% less. Plus that was an example. If you are 970 something (which most people are now), going against a 990, it does make a big difference. So yeah I do know what I am talking about thanks. I also play pvp. Obviously you dont.

  • 20 power levels is actually where it is a 10% damage difference, it's not linear, so it is between 5% and 10% at 10 power levels. It doesn't jump up to 15% until you are 60 power levels apart. I don't play much PVP, but I know how numbers work, 10% is not significant. If you think it is, maybe you should boost your own power level.

    Fine margins make a notable difference in 1v1's. Also it's supposed to be a skill based mode. These small differences matter. I am not going to carry on a discussion with someone who continues to be condescending though. Good day 🙂

    The LIGHT boost. Not the mods.... how is this so hard for people to infer? The light boost only affects LIGHT ENABLED competitive playlists....

  • my mistake, I assumed he was referring to mods since light level provides such a minimal impact in Light Enabled playlists. It needs to be like 30+ before it even STARTS becoming noticeable.

  • How many times have you come across a 1000 LL player in crucible? For me it has been exactly zero, I'm assuming it is not a common occurrence. By that logic though, if 10 levels makes a difference, should we not allow raid armor in LL enabled PVP? Avid raiders can hit the Pinnacle cap quicker, therefore, they get an unfair advantage. Just saying.

    Ah, so you have no point so have to deflect 😏 It is both irrelevant and pointless, my clan has 80+ members.... I only respond to posts that I have an opinion on.... It doesn't jump up to 15% until you are 60 power levels apart.[/quote] Those are the facts, in my experience from Iron Banner, I haven't noticed any difference in gameplay unless I'm playing someone 50+ levels above/below me, in which case, I can notice a difference. I haven't had any instances where I've noticed 5%-10% damage increase/decrease affecting gameplay. If you have, then fine, but that's still anecdotal. Which leads me to what I said before, we won't agree. [spoiler]nerf fusion rifles[/spoiler]

    Your [i]evidence[/i] is purely anecdotal. Good try though. Actually, seeing as a difference in receiving and dealing damage, which is common knowledge from the way the power levels work, will have [i]some[/i] effect on the variables of combat. Therefore, your statement is anecdotal.... mine is backed up by in game mechanics. Also it's a decrease in your damage dealt and a decrease in their damage received.... which also adds to other variables such as weapon perks/resilience.......Jog on 👏👏
