Bungie keeps giving us new armor mods each season but we haven't seen any new weapon mods for over a year
Upvote for new weapon mods. Get the word out there mate!

i believe they are using the new armor system, to test what will work for a similar system, for weapons. no need to break everything at once. i'm not saying they will actually implement what works, just that they are testing the waters.
