We split up, Karov and Odin-1 landed on the rooftops. I landed in a marketplace, alone, with only Nexus. “Where’s Shin?” Odin-1 said “No idea.” I replied ———————————————————————————————————— I kept moving, there were a couple of Legion troops in the marketplace, though they weren’t much of a threat. I continued onwards until I reached a barrier, the Legion was trying to box us in. Luckily, Hawthorne hacked the barriers and shut them down for a while. After we made it past the barrier we were closer to the Traveler. We made our way up onto the roof of a couple of buildings. ———————————————————————————————————— I climbed from rooftop to rooftop, killing Cabal as I went. I made it onto a balcony, the Eclipse was waiting for me there. “I did not expect that” Nexus said, sarcastically. “Well, let’s get ourselves a Cabal Warship” I said excitedly. “Didn’t you try that last time?” Nexus said sternly. ”Yeah, I did yet who cares if it failed last time.” I told him. After arguing for a bit, we finally made our way onto a heavily armed Cabal Warship. We swiftly took out the guards, Ray set all of the threshers to autopilot, and we took control of the Warship. ———————————————————————————————————— We blew up some Cabal warships, not before sabotaging our own ship and crashing it into a fleet of warships that surrounded the entrance towards the City. We made our way out of the burning mess and went onto the highest rooftop that we could find, the one we found was very close to the Immortal. When we landed on the rooftop Shin was waiting there. “Glad you could make it” he said. “You could have died, everyone was worried about you!” I yelled. “Relax, just watch.” He said. ———————————————————————————————————— Shin sat down on a chair and pressed a button. Then all of the Cabal ships exploded in a violent burst of flames. Shin had planted Solar grenades on all of those ships. “You did that yourself?” I asked “No, I had help from, let’s see here: Kirk, he hunted down some high value targets while we were at it, Maelstrom also helped by disabling all of the ships defenses so that the charges could be planted on all of them.” Shin went on and on with the people that he had help from, it seemed as if his list would never end. I looked through my sniper scope at the deck of the Immortal, Ghaul was on the floor, the Legend stood in front of him, taunting the Dominus. ———————————————————————————————————— I clapped, yet I might have clapped to soon. Ghaul then used the Light that he had stolen to resurrect himself. I once again screamed, we were done for. Yet as he started speaking and taunting us, the Traveler broke its Cage, Ghaul was no more, the Legion was no more. A wave of Light went across the system and beyond. I tracked it myself. Yet it stopped near, what I supposed was the edge of the Universe. I felt uneasy, as if something was coming, something stronger than the Legion. Yet now was a time of peace, until Osiris was needed on Mercury, Maelstrom dealt with that himself. When Rasputin was threatened, Odin immediately came to his aid, as for me, I scoured around Mercury and Mars for Vex and Hive resources that I could use on my weapons. I found a lot of Vex stuff, none on the Hive though. ———————————————————————————————————— 1 year and 4 months after the Red War: I challenged the Drifter to an eat off, who could eat the worlds tallest stack of Oreos, all of the filling in between two cookies, it was 777 miles high. “If I win, I get Malfeasance, with the red ribbon and it must be made of jade.” I said “Your on brotha! And if I win, let’s just say, I’ll make Gambit a lot harder for you and your friends.” He taunted “Please! Bring the pain Drifter!
