Morning, morning. I own a Samsung Odyssey+ HMD, mainly so i can play Destiny on a "large screen". I love it, and after learning how to tune (down, all the way down) the game, it's been a blast.
There is an option to increase the POV but, at least with SteamVR, doesn't help. I imagine the option wasn't a nod towards VR but it's given me ideas anyway.
Virtual Reality Only (check box): this would be an option to effectively kill the desktop redraw, allowing the video card to concentrate on what's being rendered for the HMD. All desktop-only Video options would be greyed out and the resolution would be set to the smallest possible values (sadly most VR settings are controlled by the VR software so can't really expect many more options).
Head Tracking (check box): since SteamVR doesn't currently allow the "screen" to be beyond 90º of view, this would be nice.
HMD Controllers (new controller section): Allow the use of one or both controllers. Personally, i kinda need this as selecting emotes sucks right now. 😂 And would totally allow for more immersion, without the standing up bit. I include the one-controller option because mice are precision kings, especially for us lazy bast_rds, and paired with a controller for movement/emotes would be sublime.
This might require some serious retuning so have zero expectations of seeing this pre... next major release. But. Would love to "see" this next year. 😁
Cheers! ☕🍻
