I have some ideas for people in the community (whom I will not name here) that are very talented in storytelling.
A contest could be held yearly/monthly to determine a writer in the community that could contribute to the overall lore.
I'm not saying that the current lore is bad or uninteresting, but I think that certain writers out there could help breathe life into the story of Destiny.
If this is not a reasonable idea then perhaps this one might be better.
I am a writer, although nowhere near as talented as the other writers I have in mind, as a writer it is very hard to gain readers because if I post in #Lore people get a tad bit angry because it's not actually lore.
The same goes for any other sub forum. The same also goes for any of the better writers, people that have been writing fanfiction since year one of Destiny don't have a place to put their stories.
My thought is, create a #fanfiction for writers to put it all under.
That would clear up the #lore and #destiny2 forums.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for giving us something to write about.

They accept drawings, but don't accept written Art. I don't get it. Probably because reading takes more time than looking. Just a guess.

Right, I’m not a lore person. However it’s really easy to find some super gifted/talented people in gaming communities. Warframe has tennogen: community created skins, and boy those artists are amazing, plus they get to make some money from their talent. Anyway your idea is good, anything that can help talented people get recognised is a good thing. I’ve met so many people in my life who I feel have had so much potential but they never really had a platform (pre internet days).

They don't believe in 2 way communication with the community as if to make a better effort to treat us like people they'd actually care about and not act like bots 90% of the time, so...no.

Not really. The longest I've seen them actually hold a conversations on any given post is been 3 comments long, and that was over the course of about 2 days.
