So straight to the point, I just find it silly to have some ornaments still only usable by gear from certain factions. Like how vanguard armor can use universal ornaments and vanguard ornaments or crucible armor can use universal ornaments and crucible ornaments and so on. Essentially, should you have spent time grinding for a set of vanguard ornaments in previous seasons it was all for not because Zavala is the only one who will give you armor you can apply any of them to... and he rarely gives out good stat rolls on armor... he is one stingy smurf... It makes me wonder though. Why not just make all ornaments universal? Get a lucky drop on a sweet set of black armory gauntlets for your titan but your life is the crucible? No problem, just slap an ol' Shaxx ornament on those puppies and get right back to breaking guardians. Get some high intellect boots for your warlock from lord Saladfork but don't really dig the whole iron look? Don't worry about it, just cover them up with a bit of dead orbit grunge and you're good to go. Or maybe you're just sad that you stomped out countless cave dwelling fallen in an effort to please Executor Hideo's blood lust through acts of lost sector eliksni genocide, hoping to get your hands on that pristine new monarchy cloak only to find out you'll be unable to wear it with the new armor system... That's rough fam... but make them universal and you could wear that monument to all your homicidal sins once more! And the idea could be expanded further as well. Many players put in a lot of time to grind for their triumph armor. Why not add those sets to the ornament pool? Or, seeing as its no long obtainable and was the games flagship gear, why not add the sets of armor Ikora gave out in the vanilla game? Just a thought anyway. I'm sure a lot of people out there are happy with how things are or maybe some don't really care that much. And that's cool. I've just always loved it when games give as many creative options as possible. Is there any universal ornament ideas you guys would like to see join the current roster?
