Okay, so I see alot of people just nonsensically giving input about this fix without actually giving any reasonable adjustments to the problem. And that problem is simple.
The question we have is how do we change the Wishender, but allow it to keep and retain it's potent damage output?
Do we move it to the heavy slot? Make it's drawtime along the lines of Leviathans breath? Do we move it to the special slot and make it so that each successful hit it achieves, it removes ammo for. So if you hit the target 4-5 times in a single shot, it removes 4-5 ammo from your pool. Maybe do this but alter reserves and keep it a primary, and include a drawtime change too? What else is possible?
Let's face it folks. Use your head, take that metaphorical time machine into the future and imagine what D2 looks like 8 months from now when assuming of course, we get the next big content drop and expansion. They now need to adjust all weapons and weapon types, including perks, mods and modifiers, in order to compete with just a single bow. Or, they don't buff anything and new content is created solely with the idea of this bow is mind, much like the era of ghorn. Where now if you dont have the weapon, and are using it, you're a detriment to your team and your time investment.
So, what are some ideas you have? Instead of bashing bungie for taking away "fun", let's give them viable option for a change. Not just slander them for fixing a clear bug in the system.
