I swear this thing was made to make it harder to hit you're target not easier. It's suppose to make hitting your target easier but, for me it makes it harder because I will often times get 1-2 shots short of a kill only for some other enemy whether we're talking Crucible, Gambit, or PvE (PvE ironically being the one with the least issue) to run passed and pull my sight away, more often than not resulting in my death when against an enemy player. I mean for real just today I have had 13-15 times where I will be shooting a target, majority a player, and I'll be 1-2 shots away and then some other player or NPC moves in front of and past and my aim gets pulled right off my target. In one gambit match in particular, I had this happen twice while playing on the map Kell's Grave. The first I was in the spawning area he was on the platform on the back mid right that people like to stand on, him with a izanagi's (and terrible aim) me with my conspirator (scout rifle) and we are having one of those little shot outs. I had him down to one shot, then a envoy in the middle somehow locks onto me and not my ally out there with it, and starts swerving back and forth in front of my target. I have to pull my sight off of it and back onto the enemy player 3 times only for it to swerve back the other direction and pull it off again, only for the enemy player to finally land a shot. The second was also a player this one hiding in the left little tower cone things that comes off of the middle platform. I don't remember what they were using, I think it might have been a bow, and then again I am using a conspirator. I land a few hits, he hits me, i get him 1-1.5 hits away from down only for 3 Taken Acolyte to jump up there and start dancing around. At that point all hell broke loose because they're all running up there and I lost track after the 8 time of trying to get pack on the player only to have it pulled right back off because of the three stooges square dancing up there, before lo and behold the primeval ogre Gatling gun eyes me. In both situations and many many many like it the aim assist is nothing but a royal pain in the ghost, costing me my kill and getting me killed.
