Please add an option to sort bounties by "expiration"
Pretty simple request but who knows how simple it'll be to implement! But Bungie, I would absolutely love a way to sort my bounties by what's expiring soonest. That's usually how I work through my bounties, looking at what's expiring first and then trying to 4-birds-1-stone by seeing which other bounties/quest I can knock out at the same time. It would honestly make my in-game experience significantly better if I could automatically sort bounties by expiration and be able to look at them that way.

1 ReplyGreat minds - I had exactly this same thought the other day. Now that artefact XP grinding requires you to hold so many bounties all the time, being able to pick out the one that has "23 minutes left" from the rest would be much easier of it simply sorted to the top of the list!

I'm pretty sure mine are organizing by the oldest ones last, the oldest ones expire first.

Of all the shit they need to fix and you come up with this idea. This is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard. If you don’t know what bounties you picked up the day before you have serious problems.

Here’s an idea, remove the expiration - D1 didn’t have it, so why does D2? serves no purpose other than a clear attempt to force people to keep playing until complete out of fear it will ‘expire’, where what it actually does is just make many view each bounty and weigh up time to complete over time to play and reward - by and large there are many that will just be ignored, rather than chipped away at over a day, week, fortnight. That’s what I do, and actually quite often now I just don’t bother as it’s too much of a faff.

I only pick up what I know I will complete in the time I am going to play. If I have completed them all with time to spare I collect some more. Only weekly ones do I keep to complete over the week. Why waste glimmer on letting them expire.

Edited by Zerdansk: 1/6/2020 4:37:09 PMThe way I’ve been planning out my evening is as follows: Collect all dawning bounties (deleting the Riven bounty if given as have Shuro CP) Collect all Vanguard, Gambit and Black Armory bounties that aren’t specific to the respective game modes Collect all Gunsmith bounties and Saint 14 bounties Then I proceed to deliver all cookies starting with tower ones. Load up Shuro Chi as I always wish the CP on my characters at every reset. Track three bounties at a time and smash through every one of them that’s weapon, ability, elemental specific. Then head to leviathan for cabal specific ones and complete them in Castellum. Dreaming City Bay of Drowned wishes for Scorn specific bounties Core Terminus lost sector on mars for hive. After about 2hrs max they will all be complete and then I post for shared wisdom, turn in for roughly 5 levels and then I’m done for the day. No bounties left over and free to do an alt or pinnacle activities.

Yeah that 45 seconds it took to find those bounties needs to be refunded.

…And have the game remember what was your selection previously. Same issue applies to several other options in this game too: director tab, weapon firing elements etc..

If Bungie insists that bounties should be on a timer, this would be nice. Or they could get rid of the timer.
