Oi loiked it. Episode 1-3 were good, episode 4-7 were a little less interesting and episode 8 was probably the best one.
I think Henry Cavill did a good job as Geralt. I'm satisfied.
Just wish there would've been more monsters and monster fights.
I give the show a 7.5-8/10.

Liked it. Though I thought they could have casted Yennifer and Triss better. And where the hell is Vesimir?

Too Much Nudity
Episode 1-3 were good, episode 4-7 were a little less interesting
Are we talking about the same Witcher series? Because I consider this statement completely backwards.

I loved it. I am just pissed they only did 8 episodes.

Edited by IMADAJ: 1/2/2020 7:32:32 PMI had a bit of a difficult time separating what I expected to see from the books and how the show does it, but a few episodes in I was ok with it. The show is a bit campy, and some of the effects and acting are off, but all in all I was entertained and that’s what it ultimately comes down to. I stared a second watch through and I’m enjoying it more this time around. My hopes are that the show will get approved for several more seasons before a heavy amount of work for season 2 is done so that the writers have (a definite) multiple years to spread out the story arcs. Season 1 felt rushed by putting content from 2.x books into 8 episodes. I’m also hoping the budget gets bumped up as time goes on.

I've seen parts of a few episodes while walking through the living room, but haven't had time to sit and binge it for myself. Looks cool, though.
-
It seems like it’s trying real hard to be Game of Thrones.

Edited by Uncanny_Vale: 12/31/2019 7:47:24 PMI’ve only watched the first three episodes so far but I’m really enjoying it. Not quite Game of Thrones quality but it’s still very good - better than I was expecting. I especially like Yennefers character.
-
I’m only halfway through and I absolutely love it. I beat the game twice with new game plus, and really got immersed in the Witcher world. I think Cavill is absolutely killing it so far. I’m so relieved, the show is really good. Looking forward to finishing it over the next couple days.
-
Enjoyed it. I didn’t find the non-linear storytelling that hard to follow after the first couple of episodes. Yennefer is one of the most complex and well-developed female characters I’ve ever seen in a TV series. The scene where she was unable to save the baby from the assasination organized by her father was painful to watch.

I found the show kinda campy for my taste but it ain't bad. More X-Files and less Game of Thrones, which is actually probably a good thing because they could carve out their own little niche rather than trying to fill GoT's shoes.
-
I really enjoyed the episodes, hopefully they will keep it up.

Love it

Thought it was great, Cavill really brings the energy to it though. You can tell he adores the Witcher and was thrilled to be selected to play him.
-
Its good. Cavill may not be a dead ringer for Geralt, but plays him well nonetheless. 👍
-
I thought it was pretty good. Not great but entertaining for sure. I thought all the acting was good.
-
You thought episode 4 was boring? It was like, the first episode where Geralt showed that Witcher's aren't emotionless.
-
It looks interesting, ill have to put on my eye-patch again and load up kodi
-
i watched 1-3 in one sitting. went to start ep. 4, but hit Madam Secretary on accident. now i'm on ep. 10 of MS. it's not great.

You thought A Question Of Price was "alright"? I'm not so sure about you...
