Do you use curse words
If so how often and why?
I do it around close friends only, I should probably stop

I pretty much use a curse word in every sentence unless Im around certain people such as grandparents/other elders or aunts and uncles.

Yes. Spells like bestow curse and hex are good. I am the Dungeon Master alot so I do get to make villan NPCs with spells such as those. Also, for higher level characters the power word spells can be pretty good.

I consider curse words and cuss words to be different. I try to never curse but will cuss from time to time.

1 ReplyI use profanity... All the time. But i very rarely curse anyone. There is a difference between cursing and cussing. "How can that which is profane not use profanity?"

Yes, with due respect and awareness to whom I’m speaking to and those around me. Curse words add emphasis; there’s nothing inherently wrong with them. I find it silly when people say things like “gosh darn it” instead of “god dammit.” Just say god dammit since the meaning/intent is no different.
