"Ah Shanks..." The Vex let out a terrible robotic war cry as red lasers light up the walls. Kairos makes a break for it, running directly into the cross fire. He slides up next to a rock and takes cover as the shots graze the top of it. Debris flies everywhere as the metallic clang of their steps grows closer. "Think of something, think of something, think of anything!" Kairos repeats to himself over and over, then, he looks up. The floating rocks! Of course! He jumps up and grabs the edge of one of the rocks, begins to turn with as much force as he can muster, and lobs the boulder towards them. It slowly gains speed as it glides through the strange lack of gravity it poses, until it breaks its orbit around the core, regains gravity, and crashes down a large group of the Vex. "I didn't think that would actually work!" Kairos smiles at his handy work as more lasers fly by. "Uhhhgg..." He rushes forward into the pile of broken rocks and robots and searches for a weapon to use. He finds the rail gun arm of a hobgoblin and picks it up. "Damn, this thing is heavier than it looks!" He barely gets it under his arm as he looks for the trigger. The Hobgoblins arm appears to be built right into the gun, with no sign of magazine, trigger, or anything a regular gun would need. "Right.. of course it wouldn't be that easy." Kairos hurls the device as far as he can, taking out the head of a Goblin nearby. A minotaur begins charging toward him, torch cannon wildly firing. The explosions rumble the ground around him, causing the entire chamber to shake. "Uhh.. Penny!!?" Kairos calls out again, still with no response. "I sure hope the Light can here me sing down here." Kairos whispers to himself before diving out of the way of the stampeding Vex. He reaches down in front of him and forms an arc orb in his hand. He hurls it toward another group of Goblins and Harpys, sending it soaring between their heads. As it passes by, the orb arcs lightning out at everything it can see, electrocuting every Vex in his path. He rushes up behind one and grabs its arm, aiming it at the Minotaur. The dazed Vex rapidly fires his own weapon aimlessly, hitting several other Vex in the process. "Hahaha!" Kairos starts spinning the Vex in circles, hitting most of the Vex he sees, until the Goblin he has a hold on snaps back to consciousness and throws him off, sending him into a wall. The wall cracks and crumbles around him as he attempts to get back up. He moans in pain as he watches the horse of killer robots close in on him. "Well," he says, with an evil grin on his face, "it sure was fun playing with you guys! But, I think it's time for me to go now." He stands up fully, puts both his hands together and forms a huge arc orb between them. His whole body begins to float up as all the Vex begin firing on him. The orb grows stronger before he pulls it all into one hand, pulls back and releases. His eyes glow with energy as he yells, "Chaos... REACH!!" and unleashes a beam of concentrated arc energy. The beam easily vaporizes the Vex in front of him and completely disables the Minotaur with ease. As the energy fades and he gracefully lands back on both feet, he breathes heavy and places his hands on his hips with glee. "Jolly good show!" The Harpy from earlier reappears and begins to click and chirp. "Good. Very good." It hovers past him down a lighted pathway into a small hole. Kairos follows, "So, uh.. what was the point of all this?" The Harpy stops above a pile of rocks and Kairos freezes. "Oh.." The skeleton of a dead astronaut from the Exodus Black lays with two guns in each hand. Kairos picks them up, dusts them off and reads a transcript inscribed on the larger one.
