I could not agree more. The games core mechanics (Movement, shooting, abilities) are all super gratifying and fun - but the Bounty system makes most activities anti-fun. as example, the way they are designed (Kill X NPC's with X type of damage / gun type) does not align with group play the game offers. If i go into a strike, i have to race to get to the NPC's first to kill them with X damage / gun type before my fireteam members kill them, as i will not get credit if they get the kill. As they are also trying to complete their own bounties i assume, it becomes a race. This is not fun and turns a fun activity into a stressful one. Sure to avoid this i could load into a nightfall solo, or just not focus on Bounties, but i enjoy playing with others to work together and also want to progress my seasonal bar at a reasonable rate. If i only get a hour or 2 a day to play, sometimes the lack of progress made is frustrating. :(
